It’s a Friday afternoon, office is stuffy and my right hand is bothering me. Doc says it’s “like tennis elbow, yes?”, and that without proper rest all we can try is anti-inflammatory non-steroid medication. It’s been 4 days since I started taking the medication and there’s no improvement. So it goes.
For tomorrow I have to finish reading 2 chapters of “Nemesis” by Chalmers Johnson. I also must read through acts 3, 4 and 5 of “Titus Andronicus” and summarize approximately 5 articles that deal with US foreign policy. preferably ones discussing US military presence in foreign countries. I should have done that in the course of the past 4 weeks but was low on motivation and discouraged by the lack of interest i have in these topics. Tomorrow we will also view a few more scenes from the movie “Titus” that appalled me last week. So it goes.

Target audience is aspiring writers (ones who can spell better than I do), but all are welcome.
So it went, and is going a whole lot better.
This weekend I’ll be driving down to San Diego, to a children’s books fair of some sort.

so my first question would be have you even played tennis before. Perhaps if you had told the doctor taht you are online, and blogging, and chatting for 23 hours a day, she could have given you a correct diagnosis - something having to do with a keyboard. But I’m afraid the remedy would be far too harsh to even contemplate - 3 months with using a comuter or blackberry. Ouch.
I feel our pain with Nemesis and Adronicus. Two stores, centuries apart, that make for difficult reading. Strange reading for an English class.
And who better to teach us about blogs. Good luck in that endeavor. Have a wonderful time in LB & SD.
I told her that I use the computer at least 12 hours a day. the “Tennis Elbow” remark was because both her and me share such a limited vocabulary in English, but it is a work related problem
I guess you were referring to 3 months without using a computer or my pretty blackberry. that’s impossible. I can’t keep my job and not use a computer.
My school work is bizarre, my next paper is even worse. I chose to examine US military presence in Saudi Arabia, where the only problem is - it withdrew in 2003. now I gotta find a base that’s still around, cuz other than that - my paper has great potential.
